About the author
Mia is a Girl Scout Ambassador using her skills as a writer, illustrator and protector of all living things; to educate children about climate change and the effects on animal habitats around the world and to empower kids everywhere to be the heroes in this story.

Welcome to my Gold Award project! As a Girl Scout, I have always loved exploring the outdoors and learning about the incredible animals we share our Earth with. When I realized how much climate change is affecting our global wildlife, I wanted to create a fun, hopeful way to teach younger kids how they can help.
I wrote and illustrated Spark & Bea’s Global Adventure to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders. Thank you for joining me on this mission to protect our planet!
